DataPort™ 525 Enclosures let you add any 3.5" IDE ATA100/133 Hard Disc Drive, or ATAPI CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD or tape drive using your computer's USB or FireWire port.  The DataPort™ 525 Enclosure is available with either a  USB 2.0 interface supporting transfer rates up to 480 Mb/sec, or FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface supporting transfer rates up to 400 Mb/sec. 

The  DataPort™ 525 allows quick and easy installation of multi-gig storage to your Mac or PC.  It is ideal for storing MP3 tunes, compressed video, digital  pictures, games and backup data.  The Plug and Play interface makes installation easy.  The DataPort™ 525 is also hot swappable -- no need to power down your PC to install or remove.  The ultra compact design of the DataPort™ 525 Enclosure takes up less space and can be positioned vertically.  A fan is included to keep your drive cool.
